History of Bethany
Bethany was historically rural farmland through much of the 20th century, home to dairy operations and berry farms. The Bethany Presbyterian Church, dating to the 1870s, gave the community its name. Development intensified in the 1990s and 2000s as planned communities like Bethany Village and Rock Creek were built, transforming the area into a suburban residential hub.
