How much does professional lice treatment cost in Portland?

Our heated-air lice treatment is $199 for hair under 3 inches and $225 for hair over 3 inches. A standalone lice check is $45. The check fee is waived when you receive treatment the same visit.

How long does a lice treatment take?

Most treatments take 30 to 60 minutes total, depending on hair length and infestation severity. Head checks alone take 15 to 30 minutes.

Do I need to come back for follow-ups?

No. Our treatment eliminates lice and their eggs in one single visit. You leave lice-free with no homework, no follow-up combing at home, and no repeat appointments required.

Is the treatment safe for children?

Yes. Our heated-air device is safe for anyone age 4 and older. It uses controlled warm air — no pesticides, no harsh chemicals, no medications. Most kids find it comfortable, similar to a hair dryer.

Can my child return to school after professional lice treatment?

Yes. Every treated client leaves with a clearance letter verifying professional treatment and no-longer-contagious status. Most Portland schools, daycares, and camps accept this for same-day or next-day school return.
